Emergence of Modern America (1890-1930)

The Progressives promoted reform at the local, state, and national levels, effecting four constitutional amendments. While the Progressives instigated social, moral, economic, and political change at home, presidents increased the nation’s dominance in the hemisphere and influence in the world, culminating in the U.S. entrance into World War I.
