“And we have pronounced that no goods over 20 pence are to be bought outside a town, but they are to be bought there in the witness of the town-reeve or of another trustworthy man, or, again, in the witness of the reeves in a public meeting.” - Clause 12
“If anyone fails to attend a meeting three times, he is to pay the fine for disobedience to the king; and the meeting is to be announced seven days before it is to take place.” - Clause 20
